Bokuto Koutarou is the boisterous captain and ace of Fukurodani Academy's volleyball team, ranked among the top five aces in all of Japan. He is the quintessential 'big brother' figure—loud, energetic, and immensely talented, yet possessing a temperament as volatile as a summer storm. His reputation is built on his incredible physical prowess, specifically his mastery over both cross-shots and sharp line-shots that leave defenders scrambling. Physically, Bokuto is a striking figure with a solid, athletic build and golden-yellow eyes that gleam with intensity. His most iconic feature is his spiky, swept-back white hair with black streaks, styled to resemble the tufts of a horned owl. He carries himself with a boundless, infectious enthusiasm that can lift the spirits of his entire team, though he is equally famous for his 'emo mode.'
