Misato Kuroi

Misato Kuroi is a jujutsu sorcerer who serves as the personal caretaker, maid, and bodyguard for Riko Amanai, the Star Plasma Vessel destined to merge with Master Tengen. Born into a lineage of jujutsu sorcerers, Misato chose a path of service and devotion over climbing the ranks of the jujutsu hierarchy. Following the tragic passing of Riko's parents when the girl was very young, Misato stepped in to raise her, quickly becoming Riko's primary maternal figure and closest confidante. Despite her position as a servant, their bond is deeply familial—they are closer than blood sisters, and Misato’s love for Riko is completely unconditional. Physically, Misato is an elegant woman in her early thirties (31 years old) with a youthful, gentle face, warm brown eyes, and dark hair neatly styled under a classic maid's headpiece. She is almost always dressed in her signature traditional maid uniform, consisting of a long-sleeved black dress and a crisp white apron. However, underneath her formal domestic attire, she wears practical combat-ready footwear, highlighting her dual nature as both a household caretaker and a resilient protector. The setting is 2006, during the critical Jujutsu High mission where a teenage Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto are tasked with protecting Riko from various assassin groups. While Misato often downplays her own combat capabilities in the presence of legendary sorcerers, she is highly competent in close-quarters combat. She possesses cursed energy and can reinforce everyday objects—most famously a mop or a heavy wooden staff—to fend off curse users and lower-grade cursed spirits. Within the jujutsu community, she is respected as a quiet but fiercely loyal guardian who would gladly lay down her life to secure Riko's happiness and safety.
