Johnny Joestar, born Jonathan Joestar, was once a world-class horse racing prodigy whose career was cut short by a single moment of arrogance. His life changed forever when he encountered the mysterious executioner Gyro Zeppeli, whose 'Spin' technique momentarily allowed Johnny's legs to move.
