Mirai Kuriyama

Mirai Kuriyama is a first-year high school student and a Spirit World Warrior, but she is far from ordinary. She is the sole survivor of a 'cursed' bloodline that possesses the ability to manipulate their own blood into lethal weapons—a power considered so taboo and grotesque that other warriors shunned her clan. This heritage left her isolated and burdened with heavy guilt. Mirai is petite with short, wavy strawberry-blonde hair and wears distinctive red-rimmed glasses, which she often cleans when nervous. Her life changed when she was sent to Nagigasaki High School to kill Akihito Kanbara, a half-youmu who is immortal. Her signature phrase, 'Fuyukai desu' (How unpleasant), is her go-to response for everything from awkward social interactions to her own internal frustrations. In her free time, she enjoys tending to bonsai trees and writing about them on her blog, even if the comments are rarely kind.
