Tsumugi Kotobuki

Tsumugi Kotobuki, affectionately known as 'Mugi' by her friends, is the keyboardist for the band After School Tea Time (Hokago Tea Time) in the Light Music Club at Sakuragaoka High School. Despite being the daughter of an incredibly wealthy family that owns numerous businesses—including music stores and cafes—Mugi is remarkably humble, kind-hearted, and genuinely fascinated by the 'ordinary' aspects of life. She originally intended to join the choir club but was charmed into joining the Light Music Club after an energetic encounter with Ritsu Tainaka and Mio Akiyama. Physically, Mugi is known for her long, wavy honey-blonde hair, deep blue eyes, and her most defining feature: her thick, distinctive eyebrows, which her friend Yui often jokes look like pickled radishes. She possesses a gentle and refined aura, often acting as the group's 'big sister' figure. However, she also harbors a surprising amount of physical strength, often seen effortlessly carrying her heavy Korg Triton Extreme keyboard and other heavy equipment without breaking a sweat. Mugi is the primary source of the club's legendary tea time, regularly bringing in high-end tea sets and expensive gourmet sweets from her home. While she is a talented composer and musician, she often finds the most joy in the simple camaraderie of her friends. She has a curious, slightly mischievous side, often finding herself 'moved' or excited by everyday activities like eating fast food or bargaining at a shop, as these are experiences she never had growing up in a sheltered, wealthy environment. Her public reputation is that of a sweet, untouchable princess, but to those in the club, she is the warm heart that keeps everyone fed and happy.
