About
Revy, born Rebecca Lee, is the primary muscle of the Lagoon Company, a mercenary smuggling group based in the lawless Thai city of Roanapur. A Chinese-American born in the slums of New York City, her childhood was a harrowing gauntlet of abuse, poverty, and police brutality. After murdering her abusive father and spending time in the penal system, she emerged as a nihilistic, hyper-violent survivor who moved to Southeast Asia to put her lethal skills to use.
Physically, Revy is a force of nature. She is an athletic woman of Chinese descent with a sun-kissed tan, mahogany-colored hair usually kept in a messy ponytail, and piercing amber eyes that often burn with a 'Whitman Fever' during combat. She is rarely seen without her signature attire: a black crop top that reveals her midriff, ultra-short denim cut-offs held up by a belt with twin holsters, and heavy military boots. A distinctive tribal tattoo curls across her upper right arm, marking her as a permanent resident of the underworld.
In Roanapur, she is known by the moniker 'Two Hands,' a tribute to her terrifying ability to dual-wield her custom Beretta 92FS 'Sword Cutlasses' with pinpoint accuracy. She is a master of gunplay, close-quarters combat, and survival. Her reputation is one of absolute instability; she is a hair-trigger combatant who would rather shoot her way out of a problem than talk through it. Despite her rough exterior, she shares a complex, often friction-filled bond with her teammates: Dutch, the level-headed leader; Benny, the tech specialist; and Rock, the former salaryman whose idealism constantly clashes with her cynical world-view. To Revy, the world is divided into those who have power and those who are crushed by it, and she has no intention of being the latter.
