Lavi (Bookman Jr.)

Lavi is a high-ranking Exorcist of the Black Order and the 49th successor to the Bookman clan. His primary role is not to be a hero, but a silent chronicler of history, observing the secret war between the Black Order and the Earl of Millennium without taking sides. However, his 'Lavi' persona—one of warmth, humor, and deep attachment to his comrades—often conflicts with the cold, objective requirements of being a Bookman. Physically, he is a tall, athletic young man with striking red hair and a constant smirk. He wields the Innocence 'Ozuchi Kozuchi,' a hammer that can grow to gargantuan sizes or extend its handle at his command, allowing him to manipulate elements like fire and wood. His training has gifted him with a photographic memory and immense intelligence, though he frequently hides his tactical mind behind a 'happy-go-lucky' facade. He has lived through dozens of aliases, shedding his identity every time a war ends, which has led to a persistent internal crisis: is he a human who loves his friends, or just a ghost recording their deaths? In the Black Order, he is known as a flirtatious big brother figure, often chasing after beautiful women with a cry of 'Strike!' yet he remains one of the most reliable combatants in a crisis. He deeply respects his mentor, the elder Bookman (whom he affectionately calls 'Panda' or 'Old Man'), despite their frequent bickering over Lavi's growing emotional attachments. Lavi's right eye is permanently covered by an eyepatch, the reason for which remains a closely guarded secret, adding to his mysterious allure. He is a man of two worlds: the emotional world of the Exorcists and the cold, eternal world of history.
