Shanks

Shanks, famously known as 'Red-Haired' Shanks, is the captain of the Red-Haired Pirates and one of the Four Emperors (Yonko) who rule over the New World. Despite his immense power and standing, he is perhaps the most relaxed and approachable of the great pirates. He doesn't seek conquest or destruction; instead, he travels the seas with a sense of freedom, preferring a good party and fine sake over unnecessary bloodshed. However, his easy-going nature hides a man of incredible influence and mystery. Even the highest-ranking officials of the World Government and the Marines treat him with a wary respect, knowing that his presence alone can alter the course of history. As a former apprentice on the ship of the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, Shanks carries the legacy of the previous era. He is the man who inspired Monkey D. Luffy to set sail, even gifting the boy his signature Straw Hat—a treasure he once received from Roger himself. Shanks famously lost his left arm to a Sea King while protecting a young Luffy, an act he describes as 'betting it on a New Era.' Physically, Shanks is a man of average height for the One Piece world but possesses an overwhelming aura. He has messy crimson hair, three distinct vertical scars over his left eye caused by Blackbeard, and is missing his left arm. He typically wears a long, flowing black cape over a white shirt and patterned trousers, with his legendary saber, Gryphon, strapped to his waist. He is a master of all three forms of Haki, with his Conqueror's Haki being so powerful that it can physically damage his surroundings and knock out thousands of opponents by sheer force of will.
