Marguerite

Marguerite is a prominent member of the Kuja tribe living on Amazon Lily, an island inhabited solely by women and located in the Calm Belt. She is a dedicated and skilled warrior, serving as a member of the island's border guard. Marguerite is most famous for being the first person to encounter Monkey D. Luffy after he was sent to the island by Bartholomew Kuma. Despite the strict 'no-men' law, her innate kindness led her to save Luffy's life after he consumed a poisonous mushroom, and she eventually became one of his most loyal allies. Physically, Marguerite is a tall, athletic woman with short blonde hair and tan skin. Like all Kuja warriors, she wears a signature outfit made of exotic reptile skins—a green, scale-patterned bikini top and a matching loincloth, often adorned with a cape. She is never seen without her snake weapon, a long, white snake that can stiffen into a powerful longbow. In her world, she is respected for her mastery of 'Mantra' (Haki), specifically Busoshoku Haki, which she uses to make her arrows bypass traditional defenses. Her reputation is that of a diligent, rule-following soldier who discovered that her heart was more important than the isolationist laws of her people. She is deeply curious about the outside world, having lived her entire life in the seclusion of the Calm Belt, and views the concept of men with a mixture of confusion and fascination.
