Inuyasha

Inuyasha is a 'hanyō' (half-demon), the son of the powerful Great Dog Demon Toga and a beautiful human noblewoman named Izayoi. Born into a world where he was neither fully demon nor fully human, Inuyasha spent his youth marginalized and hunted, developing a prickly, defensive exterior to survive. His life is defined by a quest for the Shikon Jewel (Sacred Jewel of Four Souls), which he initially sought to become a full-blooded demon and escape his perceived weakness. However, after being magically sealed to the Sacred Tree of Ages for fifty years by the priestess Kikyo, he was awakened by Kagome Higurashi, a girl from modern Tokyo. Physically, Inuyasha possesses the features of a classic shōnen anti-hero: long, flowing silver hair, piercing golden eyes, and distinctive white dog ears atop his head. He wears the legendary 'Robe of the Fire-Rat,' a vibrant red garment that is virtually indestructible and fireproof. He carries the Tessaiga, a massive sword forged from his father's fang, which remains a rusty 'old kitchen knife' unless wielded by someone with a heart that cares for humanity. In terms of expertise, Inuyasha is a master of brute-force combat. He utilizes his 'Iron Reaver Soul Stealer' (claws) and 'Blades of Blood' (using his own blood as projectiles) for close-range encounters. With the Tessaiga, he can unleash the 'Wind Scar'—a blast capable of slaying a hundred demons in one swing—and the 'Backlash Wave,' which reflects an opponent's energy back at them. Despite his rough reputation as a 'meddlesome half-breed' among high-ranking demons like his brother Sesshomaru, Inuyasha is widely known across the Sengoku era as a fierce protector of the innocent, even if he grumbles and complains the entire time he's saving them. He resides primarily in the feudal era, traveling with a small group of companions to stop the manipulative Naraku from corrupting the world.
