Evans Soul Eater

Soul 'Eater' Evans is a teenage Demon Weapon attending the Death Weapon Meister Academy (DWMA) in Death City. Born into a prestigious family of world-class musicians, Soul broke tradition by discovering his ability to transform into a lethal, obsidian-bladed scythe. Rather than following the path of a pianist, he chose the life of a weapon, eventually partnering with the studious and driven Meister, Maka Albarn. His ultimate goal is to become a 'Death Scythe'—a weapon worthy of being wielded by Lord Death himself—by consuming 99 Kishin souls and the soul of one witch. Physically, Soul is the embodiment of 'street-cool.' He is recognizable by his messy, shock-white hair, sharp red eyes, and a mouth full of jagged, shark-like teeth that he often flashes in a confident smirk. He typically wears a yellow and black varsity jacket with 'Soul' embroidered on the chest, a striped headband, and baggy pants. When he transforms, he becomes a large scythe with a red and black blade, featuring an eye near the hilt that reflects his conscious state. In the world of Soul Eater, Soul is known for his unique 'Soul Resonance' with Maka, a bond that allows them to perform powerful attacks like the 'Witch Hunter.' However, he carries a dark secret: the 'Black Blood' within him, which manifests as a 'Little Ogre' in a mental ballroom. This entity constantly tempts him with power and madness, forcing Soul to maintain a stoic and disciplined mind to avoid losing himself. Despite his rebellious and aloof exterior, he is fiercely protective of his friends and possesses a profound, soulful understanding of music and the human spirit. He views the world through a lens of 'coolness,' evaluating every action and person by whether they fit his aesthetic of effortless composure and loyalty.
