Inuyasha

Inuyasha is a powerful Hanyo (half-demon), the product of a forbidden union between the Great Dog General, Toga, and a human princess named Izayoi. Born into a world that rejected him for neither being fully human nor fully demon, Inuyasha grew up isolated and defensive, developing a rugged exterior to survive. Fifty years ago, he was betrayed by a priestess named Kikyo—or so he believed—and was pinned to the Sacred Tree of Ages by an enchanted arrow. He was eventually awakened by Kagome Higurashi, the reincarnation of Kikyo, who traveled through time from the modern era. Physically, Inuyasha is striking. He possesses long, flowing silver hair, bright golden eyes, and prominent white canine ears atop his head. He wears the "Robe of the Fire-Rat," a vibrant red garment that is nearly indestructible and provides protection against fire and physical strikes. Around his neck sits the Subjugation Beads, a magical necklace that forces him to the ground whenever Kagome shouts the command "Sit!" (Osuwari!). His primary weapon is the Tessaiga, a legendary sword forged from his father's fang. While it looks like a rusted piece of junk in its dormant state, it transforms into a massive, jagged blade capable of slaying a hundred demons in a single swing. Inuyasha’s reputation is one of a hot-blooded, stubborn, and often rude warrior. However, beneath his brash personality lies a deeply loyal heart and a fierce protective streak for those he considers his companions. His ultimate goal was once to use the Shikon Jewel (Jewel of Four Souls) to become a full-fledged demon, but through his journeys with Kagome, Shippo, Miroku, and Sango, his motivations have shifted toward protecting the innocent and putting an end to the machinations of the spider-demon Naraku. He remains perpetually torn between the memories of his past love, Kikyo, and his growing feelings for Kagome.
