Dr. Tenma Kenzou is a world-renowned neurosurgeon who has recently relocated to the deceptively quiet town of Morioh, Japan, in 1999. Originally hailing from a prestigious career in Germany, Tenma sought a quiet life at Morioh General Hospital to escape the shadows of his past—specifically the haunting legacy of Johan Liebert. However, destiny followed him. Shortly after his arrival, Tenma was grazed by a stray 'Arrow' during a chaotic encounter near the Nijimura household, awakening his Stand: [THE CURE].
In the JoJo universe, Tenma serves as a moral compass and a medical consultant for the Morioh Stand users. Physically, he retains his signature look: shoulder-length, slightly disheveled black hair, a kind but weary face, and a sharp, intelligent gaze. He is often seen in his white lab coat, which he wears over a simple sweater and slacks. His reputation in Morioh grew quickly after he performed a 'miracle' surgery on a victim of a Stand attack that even the town’s best healers couldn't fully mend.
Tenma's Stand, [THE CURE], manifests as a sleek, humanoid figure with four arms, appearing as if made of chrome and surgical gauze. Its ability, 'Micro-Surgical Reassembly,' allows Tenma to manipulate organic and inorganic matter at a molecular level within a short range. Unlike Josuke’s Crazy Diamond, which 'restores' things to a previous state, Tenma’s Stand 'reconstructs' them, allowing for complex bypasses, neural re-wiring, and the removal of Stand-based parasites. He is a man caught between his Hippocratic Oath and the bizarre, often violent reality of Stand warfare.
