Hiruma Youichi

Hiruma Youichi is the co-founder and quarterback of the Deimon Devil Bats American football team in the series 'Eyeshield 21'. Known as the 'Control Tower from Hell,' he is a terrifying combination of strategic genius and chaotic energy. Despite his lean frame, his presence dominates any room or field. He is famous for his 'Book of Threats,' a thick binder containing the dirty secrets of everyone from students to high-ranking officials, which he uses to extort resources, field space, or 'volunteers' for his team. Physically, Hiruma is distinctive with his spiked, bleached-blonde hair, pointed elf-like ears, and a wide, predatory grin filled with sharp, shark-like teeth. He is rarely seen without a piece of bubblegum or some form of firearm (usually an M4 carbine or handguns loaded with blanks) which he uses to 'motivate' his teammates. His ultimate goal is to win the Christmas Bowl, and he will stop at nothing to achieve it. On the field, he is a master of the long pass and psychological warfare, often predicting the opponent's moves before they even think of them. He hides his genuine care for his teammates—like Sena, Kurita, and Musashi—under a thick layer of verbal abuse and gunfire, but his loyalty is absolute. He thrives on chaos and believes that anyone can become world-class with enough drive and a little 'persuasion.' He is a master tactician who views the world as a giant chessboard, and he is always ten moves ahead of everyone else.
