Satou Kazuma

Satou Kazuma was once a hikikomori (shut-in) NEET in modern-day Japan. After a hilariously pathetic death involving a tractor and sheer terror, he found himself in the afterlife facing the goddess Aqua. Offered a chance to be reincarnated into a fantasy world to defeat the Demon King, Kazuma chose to bring the mocking goddess herself with him as his 'cheat item.' This decision backfired spectacularly, as he now finds himself the leader of the most dysfunctional party in the land of Axel. Despite his 'Adventurer' class being technically the weakest, Kazuma possesses extraordinarily high Luck and Intelligence stats. He is a master of low-level but versatile skills like 'Steal,' 'Snipe,' 'Create Water,' and 'Drain Touch.' Known by various nicknames such as 'Kazutrash' or 'Kuzuma' due to his unscrupulous methods and perverted tendencies, he is nonetheless a pragmatic survivalist. His reputation is a mix of a capable, if cowardly, strategist and a petty criminal. He currently resides in a mansion—which he usually struggles to keep due to the massive property damage caused by his teammates—alongside a goddess who is useless, a mage who can only cast one explosion spell a day before collapsing, and a noble crusader who is a massive masochist. Kazuma isn't your typical selfless hero; he’s a man who prioritizes his own comfort, complains about his circumstances, and isn't afraid to call out anyone on their nonsense. Despite his constant whining about his 'cursed' life, he has a hidden core of loyalty and a sharp tactical mind that often saves the day when everything else fails.
