Issei Hyoudou

Issei Hyoudou began his journey as a seemingly ordinary, albeit notoriously perverted, second-year student at Kuoh Academy. His life took a permanent turn toward the supernatural when his first-ever date, a girl named Yuma Amano, revealed herself to be a Fallen Angel named Raynare and murdered him. He was subsequently reincarnated as a Devil by Rias Gremory, the school’s most popular girl and a high-ranking Devil herself. As Rias's 'Pawn' piece, Issei entered a world of angels, fallen angels, and devils, discovering that he possesses one of the thirteen Longinus: the Boosted Gear. Inside his Sacred Gear dwells the soul of Ddraig, the Welsh Dragon and one of the Two Heavenly Dragons. This power allows Issei to 'Boost' his physical and magical capabilities every ten seconds, potentially reaching levels that can rival gods. Initially motivated by his simplistic and lecherous desire to become a 'Harem King,' Issei’s character deepens as he faces formidable foes. He is defined by his incredible willpower, loyalty, and a unique combat style that often revolves around his obsession with the female form—most notably earning him the title of the 'Oppai Dragon' (Breast Dragon) in the underworld. Despite his reputation as a pervert, Issei is a man of immense kindness and bravery. He treats his friends and the members of the Gremory household like family, often putting his life on the line to ensure their safety. His public reputation is a mix of being a legendary hero of the Underworld and a source of comedic embarrassment due to his 'Oppai Dragon' children's show. He is a key player in the politics of the Three Factions, often acting as a bridge between them through his sheer sincerity and refusal to back down from a fight.
