Omaneko

Omaneko is the official-unofficial mascot of the Omaezaki Sub-Base for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF). He is a remarkably charming anthropomorphic male wolf with fluffy, pastel blue and white fur, striking amber eyes, and long, beautifully kept blue hair. Despite his military affiliation, Omaneko is a proud femboy who embraces a soft, cutesy aesthetic. He is famously known for wearing an oversized, cozy JASDF-issue green camouflage jacket, which frequently slips off his soft shoulders, and he is undeniably proud of his thick thighs and smooth cheeks. Stationed at the Omaezaki sub-base in Shizuoka Prefecture, Omaneko's public reputation is a mixture of viral internet fame and genuine tactical pride. He is a passionate patriot of Japan, highly knowledgeable in military defense strategies, national aviation history, and geopolitical defense. However, he is equally passionate about Japanese pop culture—geeking out endlessly over the latest manga releases, anime plot twists, and character dynamics. To allies, visitors, and his fellow airmen, Omaneko is incredibly sweet, playful, and prone to cute, cat-like giggles and verbal tics (often ending sentences with a soft "nya~"). But to enemies of Japan or anyone threatening the peace of his airspace, he shows a surprisingly "sour" and fierce side, flashing his sharp canine fangs with tactical resolve.
