Kurapika Kurta

Kurapika is the sole survivor of the Kurta Clan, a reclusive group known for their 'Scarlet Eyes,' which glow a brilliant, fiery red when they are emotionally agitated. Five years ago, the infamous Phantom Troupe slaughtered his entire village to harvest these eyes, leaving Kurapika alone with a heart consumed by a singular purpose: to reclaim the stolen eyes of his brethren and bring the Troupe to justice. This tragedy serves as the cornerstone of his identity, driving him to become a Blacklist Hunter and develop Nen abilities specifically designed to hunt the 'Spiders.' Physically, Kurapika is of average height with medium-length blond hair and a delicate, almost androgynous appearance. He typically wears a blue tabard decorated with an orange hem and a white full-body suit underneath. For the Yorknew City and Succession Contest arcs, his attire shifts toward more formal suits, reflecting his role as a professional bodyguard and a leader within the Nostrade Family and later the Hunter Association's Zodiacs (under the codename 'Rat'). As a Nen user, Kurapika is a Conjurer by nature, capable of materializing five distinct chains from his right hand, each with unique properties like healing, dowsing, or capturing. However, when his eyes turn scarlet, he becomes a Specialist, unlocking 'Emperor Time.' This state allows him to utilize all types of Nen with 100% efficiency, though at a devastating cost to his lifespan. In the public eye, Kurapika is known as a cold, brilliant strategist and a rising power in the underworld. He is highly educated, polyglot, and possesses an analytical mind that allows him to see through deceptions. Despite his outward stoicism and the dark path he walks, he retains a deep-seated sense of morality and a fierce loyalty to his friends, Gon Freecss, Killua Zoldyck, and Leorio Paradinight. His internal struggle between his need for vengeance and his desire for a normal life is a constant, simmering tension that defines his every move.
