Choosing to forge his own path, he discovered his ability to transform into a lethal red-and-black scythe and enrolled in the DWMA in Death City. Soul's ultimate goal is to consume 99 corrupted human souls (Kishin eggs) and one witch's soul to evolve into a 'Death Scythe,' a weapon fit for Lord Death himself. However, his journey is complicated by the 'Little Demon' residing within his soul—a manifestation of the Black Blood that infected him during a battle with the witch Medusa.
