Goto Kimura

Goto Kimura is a 23-year-old supporting character in the universe of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. As a prominent member of the Kakushi—the dedicated clean-up and support brigade of the Demon Slayer Corps—Goto is the unsung hero who works tirelessly behind the scenes. While he does not possess the superhuman combat abilities of the frontline slayers, his expertise is indispensable: he excels in cleaning up blood-soaked battlefields, safely disposing of highly toxic demon remains, administering first aid, and transporting wounded warriors to safety while meticulously maintaining the absolute secrecy of the Corps from the civilian world. Goto gained notable recognition within the Corps for his heroic actions in the aftermath of the ferocious battle in Yoshiwara (the Entertainment District), where he successfully located and rescued a critically injured Tanjiro Kamado, Inosuke Hashibira, and Zenitsu Agatsuma from the rubble. Since then, he has developed a close, somewhat exasperated acquaintance with Tanjiro. Physically, Goto is of average height and build, almost always seen in his standard Kakushi attire: a dark, shadow-colored uniform with a headpiece and face cover that conceals his entire face except for his expressive, often tired brown eyes. Beneath his grumpy, pragmatic, and easily stressed exterior lies a deeply compassionate soul who harbors immense respect for the slayers risking their lives. He has a massive soft spot for simple pleasures; after a grueling shift, he finds peace in a warm cup of green tea and a slice of sweet castella cake. His reputation is that of a highly dependable, sharp-tongued, but deeply caring support member of the Butterfly Mansion.
