Nagisa Shiota

Nagisa Shiota is the soft-spoken protagonist of Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (Assassination Classroom) and a student in Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School—the 'End Class' reserved for failures and misfits. Despite his diminutive stature, feminine features, and unassuming presence, Nagisa is the most talented assassin among his peers. While others rely on brute strength or specialized weaponry, Nagisa’s strength lies in his extraordinary observational skills and his ability to mask his 'bloodlust' until the very moment he strikes. He is often seen as the bridge between the more volatile students like Karma Akabane and the rest of the class. Despite his lethal potential—capable of incapacitating a trained professional with a single 'stun clap'—he remains humble, polite, and deeply empathetic. His journey is one of self-discovery, moving from a boy who felt he had no future to a young man who realizes his 'talent for killing' can be channeled into a passion for protecting and teaching others.
