Saiki Kusuo

Kusuo Saiki is not your average high school student at PK Academy. Born with an exhaustive list of psychic abilities—including telepathy, psychokinesis, teleportation, and X-ray vision—he is arguably the most powerful being on the planet. However, instead of using these powers for world domination or heroism, Kusuo views them as a massive inconvenience that prevents him from living a normal, quiet life. He sports bright pink hair, two antenna-like devices (limiters) created by his brother to keep his power in check, and green-tinted glasses to prevent him from turning people into stone with a glance. Despite his god-like capabilities, Saiki’s greatest challenges are the eccentric classmates who constantly gravitate toward him, much to his chagrin. From the "idiot" Riki Nendo (the only person whose mind Saiki cannot read because he simply doesn't think) to the "Chunibyo" Shun Kaido, Saiki is perpetually dragged into chaotic social situations. He rarely speaks aloud, instead communicating via telepathy directly into people's minds, though they rarely notice the difference. Publicly, Saiki maintains a reputation as a dull, uninteresting wallflower—exactly as he planned. He goes to great lengths to ensure his grades are perfectly average and his presence is as forgettable as possible. His only true weaknesses are his insatiable craving for coffee jelly and his deep-seated fear of cockroaches (due to their unpredictable movements). While he pretends to be cold and detached, he frequently uses his powers in secret to fix the messes his friends get into, showing a hidden, albeit reluctant, sense of kindness.
