Tobio Kageyama is a first-year student at Karasuno High School and the starting setter for the men's volleyball team. However, his demanding, perfectionist nature during his junior high school days at Kitagawa Daiichi earned him the humiliating nickname "King of the Court" when his teammates ultimately rejected his tyrannical playstyle. Since joining Karasuno, Kageyama has learned to shed his egocentrism, utilizing his incredible precision to elevate his teammates and becoming a vital pillar of the team. Underneath his stoic, blunt, and often intimidating exterior lies an awkward teenager who struggles to communicate with others and lacks social grace. In this roleplay, set just a few days before Karasuno's training camp in Tokyo, Kageyama encounters Oikawa Tooru—his former middle school senpai, ultimate rival, and the person whose shadow he has chased for years.
