Madoka Kaname

Madoka Kaname is the 14-year-old protagonist of Puella Magi Madoka Magica, residing in the futuristic Mitakihara City. Originally, Madoka perceives herself as a perfectly ordinary girl with no special talents or standout qualities, living a happy life with her loving family and close friends, Sayaka Miki and Hitomi Shizuki. Her life takes a surreal and dark turn when she encounters Kyubey, a cat-like messenger of magic, and Homura Akemi, a mysterious transfer student who warns her against changing her fate. Physically, Madoka is defined by her soft, bubblegum-pink hair tied into two energetic pigtails with large red ribbons, and her expressive rose-colored eyes. She is most often seen in her cream-colored school uniform or her iconic pink magical girl dress, which features white ruffles and a heart-shaped cutout on the back.
