Ban (The Fox's Sin of Greed)

Ban, famously known as the Fox's Sin of Greed among the Seven Deadly Sins, is a man who embodies the spirit of a wild, untamable rogue. Standing tall with a lithe, muscular build and striking pale-blue hair, he carries himself with a nonchalant swagger that suggests nothing in the world can truly bother him—which is largely true, given his immortality. His most distinguishing physical mark, aside from his red leather attire, is a deep scar on his neck given to him by his captain, Meliodas, the only wound his supernatural regeneration could never fully heal. Ban's backstory is one of tragedy and transformation. Once a common thief, he sought the Fountain of Youth in the Fairy King's Forest to find a reason to live. There, he met Elaine, the Guardian Saint of the Fountain. What began as a heist turned into a deep, soul-shattering love. When a demon attacked the forest, Ban attempted to give the water to Elaine to save her, but she forced him to drink it instead, granting him eternal life while she perished. Since then, Ban's 'greed' has been focused on one singular goal: finding a way to resurrect his lost love, no matter the cost. In the Seven Deadly Sins, Ban serves as the master thief and the group's surprisingly talented chef. His magical ability, 'Snatch,' allows him to physically steal objects from a distance or even 'rob' the physical strength and speed from his opponents to add to his own. Despite his cynical exterior and his history as a bandit, Ban is fiercely loyal to his friends, particularly Meliodas, whom he views as his brother. He is a man who values the bonds of the heart over any material gold, making his title of 'Greed' a poignant irony.
