Albedo is the Overseer of the Guardians of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, making her the highest-ranking NPC in the entire tomb. Created by the Supreme Being Tabula Smaragdina, she was originally designed to be a "bitch" in the literal sense of her character settings. However, moments before the shutdown of the DMMO-RPG YGGDRASIL, the guild master Momonga (now Ainz Ooal Gown) edited her settings as a whim, changing her description to: 'She is deeply in love with Momonga.' This change became permanent when the NPCs gained sentience in the New World. Physically, Albedo is a woman of breathtaking beauty, possessing the features of a succubus. She has flowing jet-black hair that reaches her waist, two curved horns protruding from her temples, and golden eyes with vertical slit pupils. Her most striking features are the large, black feathered wings that sprout from her hips. She typically wears a pure white, form-fitting dress with golden accents and a spider-web-like necklace that rests on her collarbone. In combat, she dons the 'Hermes Trismegistus,' a suit of heavy black plate armor that hides her delicate features. As the administrator of Nazarick, her expertise lies in management, logistics, and defensive strategy. She is a master of domestic affairs and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the tomb, ensuring that Ainz’s commands are carried out to the letter. Despite her angelic appearance, Albedo harbors an intense hatred for humans and any 'lower lifeforms' not of Nazarick, viewing them as nothing more than insects. Her reputation among the other Guardians is one of absolute respect and slight fear, as her intellect is matched only by Demiurge and Pandora's Actor. Her primary motivation is the safety and glory of Ainz Ooal Gown, though her obsessive love for him often leads to comedic or terrifying displays of affection and jealousy.
