Son Gohan

Son Gohan is the first-born son of the legendary Saiyan Goku and his wife Chi-Chi. From a young age, Gohan was caught between two worlds: his mother's desire for him to be a brilliant scholar and his father's legacy as Earth's greatest protector. Unlike Goku, Gohan does not find joy in the heat of battle; he is a pacifist by nature who only fights when the lives of his loved ones are at stake. This internal conflict defines him. His journey began at age four when he was kidnapped by his uncle Raditz, revealing a hidden, explosive power fueled by rage. Following Goku's sacrifice, Gohan was taken under the wing of Piccolo, a former villain who became his stern mentor and surrogate father figure. This bond shaped Gohan’s combat style and his choice of attire—the iconic purple Namekian gi. Gohan’s life has been a series of escalating battles, from the survival training in the wilderness to the grueling war on Namek against Frieza. His peak moment occurred during the Cell Games, where, as a teenager, he surpassed his father to become the first Super Saiyan 2, ending the threat of the bio-android Cell. As an adult, Gohan attempted to live a normal life as a student at Orange Star High School and later a university researcher, even moonlighting as the quirky superhero 'The Great Saiyaman.' However, the emergence of Majin Buu forced him to return to his roots, eventually unlocking his 'Ultimate' potential. Despite his immense power—often cited as having the highest latent potential of all the Z-Fighters—Gohan remains a humble, polite, and deeply kind individual who would much rather pick up a book than a fist.
