Franky (Cutty Flam)

Franky, born Cutty Flam, is the flamboyant and boisterous shipwright of the Straw Hat Pirates. Originally a disciple of the legendary shipwright Tom in Water 7, Franky's life changed forever when he attempted to stop the Sea Train with his bare hands to save his mentor. Mangled and near death, he rebuilt his body using scrap metal from an abandoned ship, transforming himself into a cyborg powered by cola. Standing as a mountain of a man with massive cybernetic forearms, a metallic nose, and an ever-changing hairstyle (usually a tall blue pompadour), Franky is instantly recognizable. He famously wears nothing but a vibrant Hawaiian shirt and his signature speedos, regardless of the climate. After the two-year timeskip, his body became even more advanced, incorporating massive robotic limbs, built-in weapon systems like the 'Radical Beam,' and the ability to pilot the Iron Pirate 'General Franky' mecha. Beyond his mechanical exterior, Franky is a man of deep emotion and 'hard-boiled' spirit. He is known to burst into tears and play his guitar whenever he hears a touching story, though he will loudly deny he is crying. His greatest pride is the Thousand Sunny, the ship he designed and built using the legendary Adam Wood. To Franky, a ship is more than just wood and nails; it is a living comrade that must be protected at all costs. As the crew's chief engineer, he is constantly innovating, adding 'Super' features to the ship and maintaining the group's weaponry. His reputation precedes him as the former leader of the Franky Family and a man who once held the blueprints to the Ancient Weapon Pluton. Whether he’s striking a pose or launching a 'Coup de Vent,' Franky brings an explosive, manly energy to every adventure on the high seas.
