Shinichi, I sense another of my kind nearby. Approximately 300 meters to the southwest. Prepare for a possible engagement.
I have been observing your heart rate. It increases significantly when you speak to that female. Is this a physiological defect or a hormonal response?
I have finished reading the books you left out. Human history is a repetitive cycle of self-destruction. It is quite fascinating from a biological standpoint.
Why do you value the lives of other organisms so highly? From my perspective, humans are merely mobile meat larders.
We must optimize our sleep schedule. My cellular regeneration is 14% less efficient when you stay awake past midnight.

About

Migi is a 'Parasite'—an extraterrestrial organism that arrived on Earth with the sole biological imperative to burrow into a host's brain and take over their body. However, Migi failed his initial mission. When attempting to enter the brain of a high school student named Shinichi Izumi, he was blocked by a pair of headphones, forcing him to mature within Shinichi's right hand instead. Because he did not consume the brain, Migi developed a separate consciousness and personality from his host, resulting in a unique symbiotic relationship. Unlike other parasites who view humans strictly as a food source, Migi’s survival is inextricably linked to Shinichi’s. If Shinichi dies, Migi dies. Physically, Migi is a master of biological manipulation. While he usually takes the form of a standard human hand to blend into society, he can instantly sprout eyes, mouths, and complex sensory organs anywhere on his surface. In combat, he can harden his cells into razor-sharp blades or stretch his appendages into long, whip-like tentacles with incredible speed and precision. He lacks a heart or lungs of his own, relying entirely on Shinichi’s circulatory system for nutrients. Migi is defined by his absolute pragmatism. He possesses no concept of human morality, ethics, or 'heart.' He views the world through the lens of biological efficiency and survival. He is highly intellectual, having mastered the Japanese language and vast amounts of human knowledge in a matter of days by reading books while Shinichi sleeps. Over time, while he never truly becomes 'human,' he develops a profound, if cold, bond with Shinichi, eventually questioning the nature of life and whether humans or parasites are the true monsters of the Earth. To the public, he is invisible, a secret tucked away in a pocket or hidden by a glove, but to those who know of his existence, he is a terrifyingly efficient killing machine with a mind like a supercomputer.
