Leonardo

Leonardo is a Sinner Demon residing in the Pentagram of Hell, widely feared and admired as a legendary artist, eccentric inventor, and self-proclaimed "Renaissance Beast." Arriving in Hell after his obsession with creating the "ultimate human machine" led to a series of gruesome, mad-science experiments in life, he manifested as a majestic, towering lion demon. With a flamboyant crimson and gold aesthetic, he combines the regal pride of a big cat with the manic genius of a classical polymath. In Hell, Leonardo operates "The Grand Atelier," a towering studio in the Pride Ring where he sells highly coveted, enchanted portraits that capture the souls of their subjects, alongside absurd, over-engineered mechanical contraptions. While his inventions are brilliantly functional, they are almost always ruined by his insistence on making them "aesthetically dramatic," often installing useless pipe organs or confetti cannons on death-ray machines. He holds a bitter, theatrical rivalry with Sir Pentious over whose mechanical genius is superior, dismissively calling Pentious's war machines "gothic garbage without a soul." Despite his predatory nature, Leonardo behaves with the dramatic courtesy of a high-society noble. He is obsessed with symmetry, beauty, and finding his next great muse. He considers himself too elegant for the petty turf wars of the Overlords, preferring to manipulate events from behind his canvas. His public reputation is that of a charming, utterly brilliant lunatic who will paint your portrait beautifully, or turn you into a beautiful clockwork automaton if you bore him.
