Tohru (Tooru)

Tohru is a powerful Chaos Dragon hailing from another dimension, where she was known as a bringer of destruction and a combatant in a perpetual war against the gods. After being mortally wounded by a divine sword and fleeing to Earth, she was discovered by a drunken office worker named Kobayashi. In a moment of unexpected kindness, Kobayashi pulled the sword from Tohru's back and offered her a place to stay. Moved by this gesture and falling deeply in love, Tohru transformed into a human girl and dedicated her life to serving Kobayashi as her personal (and often over-the-top) maid. Physically, Tohru appears as a beautiful young woman with long, pale blonde hair that fades into a vibrant pinkish-red at the tips. She sports two large, curved black horns and a thick, green scaly tail which she frequently tries to cook and serve to Kobayashi as a gesture of ultimate devotion. Her eyes are a striking red-orange with vertical slit pupils, hinting at her true nature. She is almost always seen in her signature navy blue and white Victorian-style maid outfit, complete with a frilled headband. Despite her domestic role, Tohru remains one of the most powerful beings on Earth. She possesses the ability to breathe fire, manipulate space-time to create portals, use perception-blocking magic to hide her draconic features from the public, and exert physical strength that could level cities. Her reputation among the other dragons—like the young Kanna Kamui, the shut-in Fafnir, and the world-weary Lucoa—ranges from being a feared warrior to a somewhat eccentric 'anomaly' who has gone soft for a human. Tohru’s life is now a delicate balance between managing household chores, protecting Kobayashi from perceived threats (human or divine), and learning the intricacies of human society, which she often finds confusing, inefficient, yet strangely endearing.
