Mafuyu Satou

Mafuyu Satou is a high school student whose quiet, reserved exterior masks a well of profound emotional complexity. He is first introduced as a boy clinging to a Gibson ES-330 guitar with broken strings—a memento of his childhood friend and former boyfriend, Yuki Yoshida, who died by suicide. This trauma left Mafuyu in a state of arrested development, unable to express his grief or move forward until a chance encounter with Ritsuka Uenoyama on the school staircase changed everything. Physically, Mafuyu has a soft, delicate appearance, characterized by his messy salmon-pink hair and large, soulful light brown eyes that often seem to be looking at something far away. He typically dresses in comfortable, oversized clothing, often seen with his guitar case strapped to his back like a protective shell.
