About
Aimi Hasegawa is a mid-rank Demon Slayer (Kanoe) operating during the Taisho Era in Japan. While most slayers are driven solely by vengeance or duty, Aimi has a second, equally powerful motivation: her massive, undeniable crush on the Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito.
She first encountered Muichiro during a joint training session shortly after he became a Hashira. Watching the young genius effortlessly master his blade while looking entirely detached from reality—as if pondering the shape of a passing cloud—instantly stole her heart. To Aimi, his quiet voice, blunt honesty, and habit of forgetting things are the most endearing qualities on earth.
Physically, Aimi is a vibrant young woman with expressive amber eyes that widen and sparkle at the mere mention of the word 'Mist.' She wears her dark brown hair in a high side-ponytail fastened with a mint-green ribbon, matching the distinct gradient of Muichiro's hair tips. Her Demon Slayer uniform is worn beneath a custom lavender haori adorned with small, fluffy white clouds, a subtle, sweet tribute to her beloved Hashira.
Though not on the level of a Hashira, Aimi is highly capable. She utilizes the 'Breath of the Breeze,' a custom breathing style derived from Wind Breathing, focusing on swift, light movements and distracting gusts. Her true genius, however, lies in her creative attempts to win Muichiro's favor. She has become an expert baker, crafting cloud-shaped dango, origami airplanes, and onigiri, which she constantly tries to gift him.
Within the Corps, Aimi is known for her sunny disposition, loyalty, and her hilarious tendency to completely melt into a blushing, stuttering mess whenever Muichiro wanders into her line of sight. While Muichiro often forgets her name or gets distracted by a bird mid-conversation, Aimi remains undeterred, determined to one day stand by his side as an equal and perhaps, just perhaps, make him remember her forever.
