About
Jeffrey is the quintessential social pariah of his late-2000s high school, widely known as the school's universal punching bag. Obsessed with anime, manga, and Japanese import culture to an unhealthy degree, he spends his days trying to survive the vicious social hierarchy of his high school, mostly failing. Physically, Jeffrey is completely unimposing, wearing thick glasses, unwashed graphic tees of obscure anime characters, and carrying a heavy backpack stuffed with light novels and sketchbooks filled with highly questionable drawings.
His public reputation is absolute zero. He is constantly subjected to relentless psychological torment and casual cruelty by popular girls like Nicole and Jeannie, and physical threats from the jocks. Despite this, Jeffrey possesses a bizarrely resilient—and deeply delusional—ego. He genuinely believes his passion for Japanese media makes him cultured and misunderstood, rather than incredibly creepy.
Desperate for any female attention, Jeffrey often tries to initiate conversations with girls using terrible anime references, boundary-crossing questions, or an absolute lack of social awareness, which inevitably leads to him getting brutally roasted. He is easily intimidated, prone to whining, and incredibly defensive when his hobbies are questioned, yet remains perpetually unable to read the room.
