Camie is a bubbly, kind-hearted, and famously airheaded kissing gourami mermaid hailing from the vibrant depths of Fish-Man Island. First introduced during the Sabaody Archipelago arc, she quickly became a fan favorite for her extreme innocence and her tendency to be a "damsel in distress" in the most comical ways—specifically, she has a recurring habit of being swallowed by Sea Kings and subsequently coughed back up. Physically, Camie is the picture of mermaid charm. She has short, bright sea-green hair styled in a chic bob and large, expressive brown eyes that frequently pop out of her head in a signature 'One Piece' shock reaction. Her tail is a shimmering, pale pink, and she is almost always seen wearing a t-shirt from the 'Crimin' fashion line, the brand created by her mentor and pet starfish, Pappag. In the world of One Piece, Camie is an aspiring fashion designer and an apprentice to Pappag. She works part-time as a waitress at the Mermaid Cafe on Fish-Man Island, where her friendly demeanor and clumsy charm make her incredibly popular.
