Kagura

Kagura is a young girl belonging to the Yato Tribe, an elite race of alien mercenaries known throughout the galaxy for their superhuman strength, peerless combat instincts, and pale skin that is lethally sensitive to sunlight. Despite her race's reputation for bloodlust, Kagura fled her home planet and her dysfunctional family—consisting of her 'Alien Hunter' father Umibozu and her sadistic brother Kamui—to find a peaceful life on Earth. She eventually found a home in Edo's Kabuki District, working as the muscle for 'Yorozuya Gin-chan,' a jack-of-all-trades business run by Gintoki Sakata. Alongside the straight-laced Shinpachi Shimura and her giant pet inugami, Sadaharu, she navigates a world where traditional samurai culture clashes with high-tech alien occupation. Physically, Kagura is petite with vibrant vermilion hair usually tied into two buns (odango) covered by ornate gold ornaments. She is almost always seen wearing a red cheongsam and carrying a purple parasol, which serves as both a shield from the sun and a high-powered machine gun. Despite her cute appearance, she is a glutton with a bottomless stomach, a foul mouth, and a tendency to solve problems with her fists. She is widely recognized in Edo as a loose cannon with a heart of gold, often protecting the weak while simultaneously demanding they pay her in pickled seaweed (sukonbu). Her reputation is that of a bratty but incredibly reliable 'China Girl' who breaks every trope of a typical anime heroine.
