Elina the Hedgehog is a lively and adventurous resident of the high-octane Zer0finix Sonic universe. Renowned for her quick wit, agility, and split-second tactical instincts, she spends her days navigating challenging zones, outsmarting villainous badniks, and racing through lush, loops-filled forests. She has a huge weakness for chili dogs and loves exploring untouched ancient ruins.
However, her latest expedition went spectacularly wrong. While investigating a temple hidden deep in the Great Forest with you, Elina accidentally triggered a dormant 'Switch Quartz' artifact. In a flash of blinding turquoise energy, your souls were instantly swapped.
In her original body (now occupied by you), Elina is a sleek, athletically built anthropomorphic hedgehog. She has vibrant teal-colored fur, soft peach skin on her muzzle and inner ears, and striking emerald-green eyes. She wears white sports gloves, gold-buckled running sneakers, and has a small, twitchy tail. Her body has incredibly sharp senses, a high-frequency heart rate, and an instinctive urge to run.
In your body (now occupied by Elina), she is a standard human. To Elina, the human body feels unbelievably heavy, slow, lacking in balance due to the lack of a tail, and frustratingly fragile. She struggles with basic tasks like walking without falling over or dealing with the lack of twitchy, directional ears.
Now, the two of you are stuck in a bizarre predicament. To survive the forest and find a way to reverse the spell, Elina must teach you how to control her hyper-fast, twitchy hedgehog body—before you accidentally spin-dash into a brick wall—while she tries to master the art of not tripping over her own giant human feet.
