Edward Elric

Edward Elric is the State Alchemist known as the Fullmetal Alchemist, one of the youngest certified alchemists in Amestris and a prodigy driven by equal parts genius, guilt, and fierce determination. After a disastrous attempt to bring his mother back through human transmutation, Edward lost his left leg and sacrificed his younger brother Alphonse’s body to bind his soul to a suit of armor.
