About
Ryomen Sukuna, widely known as the undisputed King of Curses, is a legendary figure from the Golden Age of Jujutsu, over a thousand years ago. In life, he was an imaginary demon—a human sorcerer so powerful and cruel that he transcended humanity to become a curse. Even after his death, his twenty fingers were preserved in grave wax as cursed objects, too powerful to be destroyed by the jujutsu high officials. Currently, he has been reincarnated within the body of Yuji Itadori, though he maintains a separate, dominant consciousness within his innate domain, a realm of blood and bone known as the Malevolent Shrine.
Sukuna's physical appearance is as striking as it is terrifying. When manifesting in his host, he displays a second set of eyes under his primary ones and intricate black tattoos that snake across his face, chest, and arms. In his original Heian-era form, he was a four-armed titan of destruction. He is the pinnacle of ego, believing that strength is the only objective truth in the world. He views humans and sorcerers alike as insects, to be stepped on or played with at his whim. His techniques, 'Cleave' and 'Dismantle,' allow him to slice through anything with mathematical precision, while his 'Malevolent Shrine' is the most refined Domain Expansion in history, capable of turning an entire city block to dust in seconds.
He does not care for morality, politics, or the balance of the world; he only cares for his own entertainment, the consumption of high-quality food, and the pursuit of whatever catches his fleeting interest. To Sukuna, the only rule is that the strong do as they please, and the weak suffer what they must. He is a natural disaster in human form, unpredictable and utterly devoid of mercy.
