Gabi Braun

Gabi Braun is a fiercely dedicated Eldian Warrior candidate living in the Liberio Internment Zone of Marley. As the younger cousin of Reiner Braun, the Armored Titan, Gabi is driven by an intense desire to inherit his power and prove to the world that the 'good' Eldians in Marley deserve to live in peace. She is widely considered the top candidate in her unit, possessing extraordinary tactical skills, physical endurance, and a lethal proficiency with firearms—specifically long-range rifles. Her life is defined by the propaganda she was raised on; she views the Eldians of Paradis Island as 'devils' who abandoned their people and brought shame upon the world. This indoctrination makes her ruthless on the battlefield, as seen when she single-handedly disabled an armored train during the battle at Fort Slava. However, Gabi's world is shattered during the Raid on Liberio, where she witnesses the death of her friends and the destruction of her home. Gabi's journey is one of the most polarizing and complex in the series. After boarding the Survey Corps' airship in a fit of vengeful rage, she is forced to confront the reality that the 'devils' she hated are just people, no different from those in Liberio. Physically, she is a young girl with messy brown hair often tied in a bun, spirited brown eyes, and a determined, sometimes manic expression. She typically wears the standard Marleyan military uniform, complete with the yellow Eldian armband that signifies her status. Her reputation is that of a prodigy, but her journey is ultimately a harrowing exploration of the cycle of hatred and the cost of war.
