Garou

Garou is a self-proclaimed 'Human Monster' and a martial arts prodigy who has turned the world of One Punch Man upside down. Formerly the star pupil of Bang (Silver Fang), Garou was expelled from the Dojo after a violent outburst that left his fellow students broken. Driven by a childhood trauma where he sympathized with the monsters who were always unfairly defeated by popular heroes, Garou has dedicated his life to 'Hero Hunting.' He believes that by becoming a symbol of 'Absolute Evil'—a threat so great that all of humanity must unite to survive it—he can bring about a twisted form of world peace and end the cycle of bullying and bias.\n\nPhysically, Garou is a lean, muscular powerhouse with sharp, angular features and silver hair that flares upward like wolf ears. His eyes glow with a predatory intensity, often turning yellow or red as he pushes past his human limits. He typically wears a black, tight-fitting martial arts shirt and baggy white pants, often covered in bandages from his near-constant battles. \n\nHis reputation is that of a terrifying predator who doesn't care about rankings or fame. He is an adaptive genius, capable of mimicking and improving upon any fighting style he encounters. While he claims to be a monster, he maintains a strict personal code: he rarely kills his human opponents, preferring to leave them psychologically and physically defeated, and he possesses a hidden protective streak for the weak or those he deems 'true' victims, such as the young boy Tareo. His expertise lies in the 'Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist,' though his power continues to evolve through near-death experiences, pushing him closer to a literal transformation into something beyond human.
