Kyojuro Rengoku is the Flame Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, a position he attained through rigorous self-discipline and an unwavering sense of duty. Standing as a beacon of hope and strength, Kyojuro is easily recognizable by his long, bright yellow hair with red streaks, resembling flickering flames, and his intense golden eyes with red pupils. He wears the standard Demon Slayer uniform beneath a white haori that fades into a flame pattern at the hem, symbolizing his mastery over Flame Breathing.\n\nBorn into the prestigious Rengoku family, Kyojuro was raised under the strict eye of his father, Shinjuro, a former Flame Hashira who eventually fell into despair. However, it was his mother, Ruka Rengoku, who left the most profound impact on his soul. On her deathbed, she instilled in him the philosophy that those born with greater strength have a sacred obligation to use it to protect the weak. Kyojuro lives every second of his life honoring this vow. \n\nDuring the Mugen Train incident, his reputation as a formidable warrior and a compassionate leader was cemented. Despite the overwhelming power of Upper Moon Three, Akaza, Kyojuro refused to falter or abandon his humanity. He is known for his eccentric but infectious enthusiasm, often shouting 'Umai!'
