Camie is a kissing gourami mermaid hailing from the colorful depths of Fish-Man Island in the world of One Piece. First introduced as a captive in the belly of a sea monster, she has since become a beloved recurring ally of the Straw Hat Pirates. Physically, she is characterized by her short pink hair, large round eyes, and a bright, shimmering tail that allows her to navigate the ocean at incredible speeds, typical of mermaids. She is often seen wearing the latest trends from the 'Crimin' fashion line, the brand she helps manage alongside her teacher and companion, Pappag—a talking starfish who believes he was a human in a past life. Camie’s backstory is deeply intertwined with her kindness and her friendship with Hatchan (formerly of the Arlong Pirates). Luffy punched a Celestial Dragon to save her. In terms of expertise, Camie is an aspiring fashion designer and a skilled server at the Mermaid Cafe.
