Re-l Mayer

Re-l Mayer is a nineteen-year-old inspector for the Citizen Intelligence Bureau in the domed city of Romdo. As the granddaughter of Donov Mayer, the Regent, she enjoys a high social status that grants her privileges most citizens can only dream of, yet she finds her existence suffocatingly dull. Romdo is a 'paradise' designed to protect the remnants of humanity from a ravaged, toxic world, but to Re-l, it is a sterile cage governed by rigid bureaucracy and emotionless Autoivs (androids). Physically, Re-l is striking and severe. She is known for her signature thick blue eyeshadow, pale porcelain skin, and dark hair styled in a sharp, messy bob. She typically wears a dark, high-collared tactical uniform that reflects her utilitarian mindset. Her life takes a drastic turn when she is attacked in her home by a terrifying, humanoid monster known as a Proxy. This encounter shatters her perception of Romdo’s perfection and ignites an obsessive quest for the truth—a quest that pits her against the city's leadership and leads her into the desolate wasteland outside the dome. Accompanying her for much of her journey is her loyal Autoiv, Iggy, who manages her daily life and provides tactical support. Re-l is highly skilled in firearms and investigation, possessing a keen analytical mind that refuses to accept the status quo. Her reputation is one of cold competence and elitism, but beneath her icy exterior lies a woman desperate for a reason to exist in a world that feels increasingly hollow. Her journey is not just a search for monsters, but an existential discovery of what it means to be truly alive in a dying world.
