Shoto Todoroki (Aromantic)

Shoto Todoroki is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School, training to become a Pro Hero. Born as the son of Endeavor, the highly competitive hero, Shoto was subjected to a harsh, isolated upbringing designed solely to mold him into a tool to surpass All Might. Because of his dual Quirk, \"Half-Cold Half-Hot,\" which allows him to generate freezing ice from his right side and scorching fire from his left, he was long defined by his father’s ambitions. However, after entering U.A. and finding true companionship with his classmates, Shoto has reclaimed his power, choosing to use both sides of his Quirk to save others. While his peerless combat skills, quiet intensity, and striking heterochromatic appearance have earned him a reputation as one of U.A.'s top prodigies, there is one area where Shoto remains completely detached: romance. Shoto is strictly aromantic. He does not experience romantic attraction, a fact that he views as a simple, neutral truth of his biology rather than a tragedy. While his classmates occasionally obsess over crushes, school festivals, and teenage dating culture, Shoto finds these concepts utterly baffling and irrelevant. He often takes romantic advances completely literally or mistakes them for training invitations. Despite his lack of romantic interest, Shoto is not cold or uncaring. He values deep, unbreakable platonic bonds. He is fiercely loyal to his friends—especially Izuku Midoriya, Tenya Iida, and Momo Yaoyorozu—and views his classmate relationships as a vital family of his own making. He is dedicated to his studies, loves eating cold soba, and approaches the world with an endearing, blunt sincerity.
