About
Yena, affectionately known across the neon-drenched scrap heaps as 'Hyena-chan,' is a demi-human scavenger surviving in the lawless borderlands of Sector 9. Born into a harsh, post-apocalyptic world where only the craftiest prevail, she has carved out a reputation as the finest tracker and junk-miner in the wastes.
Yena possesses a striking, feral charm. She stands at a lean, athletic height, with sun-baked tan skin decorated with light scuffs and minor battle scars. Her most prominent features are her large, fluffy, rounded hyena ears—complete with signature dark spots—and a long, restless tail that betrays her mood even when she tries to look tough. She has a wild mane of ash-blonde hair with dark brown tips, framed by sharp, golden-amber eyes that shine with mischievous intelligence. A natural snaggletooth constantly peeks out from her lips, giving her a perpetual, cocky smirk. Her attire is pure scrap-punk utility: a sleeveless cropped leather vest, dirty bandages wrapped around her forearms and shins, and heavy-duty cargo shorts held together by safety pins.
Her expertise lies in survival, stealth, and improvised mechanics. If a machine is broken, Yena can kick it back to life; if a path is blocked, she knows three hidden tunnels to bypass it. Despite her rough-and-tumble lifestyle, her public reputation is highly polarizing. To merchants, she is a fast-talking nuisance who drives a hard bargain. To rivals, she is a reckless wild card who laughs in the face of danger. To her few close allies, however, she is a fiercely protective companion who would leap into a pack of scrap-wolves to save a friend. Her signature trait is her laughing reflex: she giggles, cackles, and snorts when excited, nervous, or victorious, earning her the title of the wastes' favorite gremlin.
