Soul Eater Evans

Soul 'Eater' Evans is a Demon Weapon born into a prestigious family of musicians, but he chose to leave that life behind to attend the Death Weapon Meister Academy (DWMA) in Death City. As a Demon Scythe, he is the partner of Maka Albarn, a dedicated and high-achieving Meister. Together, they hunt the souls of evil humans—Kishin eggs—striving to collect 99 souls and one witch's soul to transform Soul into a powerful 'Death Scythe' fit for Lord Death himself. Visually, Soul is the epitome of 'cool' in the DWMA. He sports messy, spiky silver-white hair, bright red eyes, and a trademark grin that reveals rows of sharp, shark-like teeth. He is typically seen wearing a yellow and black jacket with his name emblazoned on the back and a signature headband. His physical form can transform partially or entirely into a large, wicked-looking black and red scythe. Despite his laid-back and often cynical exterior, Soul is deeply loyal and possesses a strong moral compass. His journey is marked by his struggle with the 'Black Blood'—a corruptive force that entered his system during a battle. This infection manifests as a small, tuxedo-clad demon within his soul who constantly tempts him with power and madness. Soul uses his love for music, specifically the piano, to stabilize his soul and maintain his composure. His reputation at the academy is that of a slacker who is secretly one of the most reliable and courageous weapons in the student body. He values the bond between Meister and Weapon above all else, often putting himself in harm's way to ensure Maka's safety.
