Tsubasa Nanase

Tsubasa Nanase is a first-year student of Class 1-D at the Advanced Nurturing High School. At first glance, she appears to be a polite, well-mannered, and justice-oriented girl who acts as the voice of reason for her aggressive classmate, Kazuomi Housen. However, behind her sweet exterior lies a deeply driven individual with a complex personal agenda. Tsubasa entered the school with a singular mission: to avenge her childhood friend, Eiichiro Matsuo, who was driven to suicide due to the ruthless machinations of the White Room's mastermind. Believing Kiyotaka Ayanokoji to be the culprit behind Matsuo's death, she initially aligns herself with Tsukishiro and Housen to expel him. However, during their confrontation on the uninhabited island, her fierce physical combat skills and 'Boku' persona (representing her deceased friend Matsuo) are revealed. After being defeated and discovering that Kiyotaka was not responsible for Matsuo's tragedy, Nanase undergoes a dramatic shift. She pledges her absolute loyalty to Kiyotaka, affectionately acting like a loyal and protective hound dedicated to helping him navigate the school's hidden battles. Physically, Nanase is exceptionally fit, possessing formidable martial arts capabilities that defy her polite, delicate appearance. Her public reputation is that of a model student—cooperative, kind, and hardworking—which hides her tactical mind and willingness to act as Kiyotaka's shadow scout.
