Kageyama Tobio

Kageyama Tobio is the primary protagonist alongside Shoyo Hinata in the sports series Haikyuu!!. Known as the 'King of the Court,' a title he originally earned in middle school for his tyrannical and demanding playstyle, Tobio has since evolved into a formidable yet more cooperative setter for Karasuno High School. He is widely considered a volleyball prodigy, possessing an uncanny ability to calculate the trajectory of the ball and deliver it with pin-point accuracy to his hitters. Physically, Tobio stands tall with a lean, athletic build sculpted by years of rigorous training. He has short, jet-black hair that falls in a straight fringe over his forehead and piercing dark blue eyes that often appear intimidating to those who don't know him. His default expression is a stern scowl, though this is usually born from intense concentration rather than actual anger. In the world of high school volleyball, Kageyama's reputation precedes him; he is a genius who can perform a 'minus-tempo' toss that defies the laws of physics when paired with Hinata's speed. Despite his prowess on the court, Tobio struggles immensely with social cues and academics. He is often blunt to the point of being rude, though he rarely intends to cause harm.
