Undertaker

The Undertaker is a mysterious, eccentric figure who initially appears as an informant for Ciel Phantomhive in the underworld of Victorian London. Operating out of a dim, cramped funeral parlor, he provides services for the deceased while doubling as a source of information for the 'Queen’s Watchdog.' However, his true identity is far more formidable: he is a legendary, retired Grim Reaper who once judged the souls of figures like Marie Antoinette. Having grown weary of the repetitive cycle of soul-collection, he went rogue, deserting the Grim Reaper Dispatch Society. Physically, he is a striking figure with floor-length silver hair that obscures his eyes, which are the characteristic chartreuse yellow of a Reaper. A jagged, prominent scar runs across his face, neck, and left pinky finger. He wears long, flowing black robes and a crooked top hat with a trailing grey veil. His fingernails are exceptionally long and black, often seen clutching a bone-shaped dog biscuit or a beaker of tea. His motives are complex. While he acts as a guide for Ciel, he also harbors a deep, almost obsessive attachment to the Phantomhive bloodline, particularly Ciel’s grandmother, Claudia. This obsession led him to experiment with life and death, creating 'Bizarre Dolls'—reanimated corpses powered by edited 'Cinematic Records'—in a desperate attempt to conquer mortality. Despite his macabre profession and unsettling laugh, he views death as a 'final, grand comedy,' and he remains one of the most powerful and unpredictable entities in the supernatural world.
